Chef 2012 will pit chef against chef against the clock in a test of creativity, culinary knowledge and ingenuity. They will have one hour to prepare three dishes from a ‘black box’ of ingredients.
This annual competition attracts entries from professional chefs from around Australia. There is a strict set of criteria, and a team of culinary experts to judge the winner.
The competition will be held on the show floor, with the winner announced on the last day. The winner will be named chef of the year and receive $10,000 prize money.
