Awards sectors:
Business Sector Winners:
2008/9 Premier award: This award will be presented to the baking industry entreprise considered by the judges to be the most outsanding entrant in the awards. The winner will receive a trophy - a fitting tribute to their recognition as NSW's best.
Other major awards to business:
These will be awarded to the most outstanding business in each of the major categories. Winners will be chosen following an assessment of each entry in every category. Winner will receive a trophy recognition for their outstanding performance in their chosen category.
Individual Sector Winners:
Master Awards:
These awards go to master craftsmen in the baking industry who demonstrate sound knowledge of their craft, have a commitment to training and motivating their staff, strive for exoerience through continious learning, and can demonstrate a continued commitment to the baking industry.
Apprentice Award:
The apprentince award will recognise a young profesiional in the baking industry - an up and coming "star". Entrants will be required to express their vision of the baking industry and their future in it. The Winner will be determined by an assessment of technical knowledge, practical skills and competency.
The Winner of each Apprentice category will receive financial contribution from the gold sponsor and the B.I.A NSW to further their case studies.
